Stakes from every player on the same market join one pool — YES + NO together. When the market resolves, we take a 13% fee from the losing side's stakes; winners get their stake back plus a share of the rest of the pool, pro-rata to their stake on the winning side. A winning bet is never paid less than it staked.

Your stake and the pool composition at the moment of placement are locked in, but the implied probability you see on the dial is live and moves with every new bet. The bet-confirm popup holds the quote for 10 seconds so you can confirm at the rate you saw. The fee rates a poll is settled at are frozen when the poll is created — changing them later never affects a bet already placed.

So we know who we are paying. We verify your identity once, before your first withdrawal, with any one of four documents — National ID (NIDA), passport, driving licence or voter’s card — and our compliance team reviews it, usually within a day; one document can only be used on one account. If we later ask you to re-verify, you can still withdraw money you already hold.

Yes — briefly. For the first 5 minutes after you place a bet, a Sell-now button on any open position gives your full stake back at no cost. After those 5 minutes the position is locked and rides to settlement (a bet placed close to when betting shuts can't be sold at all). Accepted sales mark the position Cashed out and funds return to your wallet.

Bets on voided markets have their stakes refunded to your wallet. Settlement corrections by the source authority within 1 hour of resolution are honoured — see Terms §6.

Every market move is recorded into a HMAC-chained audit trail. Resolutions cite a public source URL. The whole-pool math is published in the Terms of Service, and the exact fee taken from a settled pool — in shillings, not a percentage — is shown on that market's resolution panel, where you can check it yourself.
